Love Puja
“Attract a man or fix the one you have got” was the catch cry of the women’s Love Puja, led by Ma Devi at the Shiva Ashram on the 21st October. A large group of women assembled in the mandap to join in a beautiful group puja to the Goddess Lakshmi. Ma Devi instructed the women as they made a small Ganesh from turmeric in order to overcome any obstacles. After various chants and offerings of petals and water the group then wrote resolutions of what they wanted in their lives. The resolutions were offered to a sacred fire yagna so that the goddess would favorably receive all requests.
