Meditate 'O8 Conference (June 2008)
On the 22 June, Swamiji and Ma Devi were invited to participate in Meditate 08. This highly successful event was the first conference on meditation held in Melbourne and featured major meditation teachers from around Australia. Swamiji gave a key note lecture on inquiry, saying that it is a practice that we all do, but not necessarily very well. He pointed out that meditation and self-inquiry taken together form a complete path, both worldly and spiritual. Ma Devi then led a capacity crowd in a practical workshop using techniques of self-inquiry to unblock contractions of thought and feeling.
