Friends of Shiva Yoga supports the development of the Shiva Ashram and its goals through donations, in-kind contributions and volunteer efforts.

Shiva Yoga is a not-for-profit charity organization dedicated to awareness of the Inner Self. It was developed by Swami Shankarananda in the tradition of his guru, Swami Muktananda, as an approach to living with a high level of awareness, intelligence and compassion. The Shiva Yoga lineage is a living path of inner transformation that is open to all members of the community.

Friends of Shiva Yoga offers the opportunity to support the work of Shiva Yoga

You can contribute financially to a number of key projects connected to the growth of the Shiva Ashram and the fulfillment of its goals. You can also offer in-kind support, and donations of time and labour.

Monthly donations and planned giving

Some people choose to become a Friend of Shiva Yoga through a regular monthly donation. Others like to make an offering at an auspicious time as a way to celebrate events such as Swamiji’s birthday; Guru Purnima; Shivaratri; or Baba Muktanananda’s Mahasamadhi.
