Shiva Yoga in the professional world
Upward Shift is a dynamic method of self-inquiry. It is a personal investigation into thought and feeling.
Through presentations and guided sessions, participants learn how to develop awareness to identify their state of mind. They learn how to determine the source of unhappy or negative emotion. By asking themselves precise questions, they receive valuable answers. As a result, they can “process” emotions as they arise, generating harmony and increasing personal empowerment.
The techniques of Upward Shift can be used with every person and in every circumstance of life to enhance the quality of relationships, health and career, and to deepen the connection to the spirit within.
In a lecture format, Upward Shift facilitators present course content, encouraging full participation and group interaction. They lead self-inquiry guided meditations to help participants get actual practice in the techniques. Then they lead discussions, motivating an exchange of experiences while honoring privacy. Participants often report spontaneous results that they can immediately apply to their daily life.
Our successful professional and long-time students of Shiva Yoga travel to your location. Or, we can set up seminars at our location. We recommend a minimum of eight enrolled in the course.
