Christmas Satsang 2007
The arrival of ‘Santa-Swami’ (aka Swamiji) at our Satsang was a sure sign that Christmas was almost here. Our annual program is a much loved event most of all, by the most junior members of the Satsang. The children’s annual play is a highlight and this year - under the able direction of Ishwari - the story of the quest for happiness unfolded at the ‘S.elf’ (or ‘self-inquiry learning facility’) run by Santa’s elves. With a beautiful heroine (Kashi), a boisterous Santa (Scott) and a very, very tall elf (Jonathon) the play evolved around self-inquiry and was both hilarious and clever. Swamiji and Ma Devi then handed out gifts to all the children and Christmas carols were sung. Swamiji finished the evening by talking about the Great Being Jesus and he drew out some key aphorisms from the Bible that reflected his significant teachings.
Merry Christmas 2007
