On 27 November Adi Da Samraj died of a heart attack at his ashram in Naitauba on the island of Fiji. His mahasamadhi marks the passing of a noted guru and a significant member of our spiritual tradition. He was born Franklin Albert Jones in Queens, New York in 1939. In the late sixties he became a student of Swami Rudrananda (Rudi), and later a disciple of Baba Muktananda. He established his own spiritual path in 1972. Adi Da wrote 70 books and founded ashrams in America and Fiji. Our sympathies are extended to the many members of his community.
